Luna Moth Study

The ethereal, delicate beauty of a Luna Moth is unforgettable once you've seen one. I saw my first one on Grand Manan island last summer, and was moved to create an original glass design in an attempt to capture just a bit of this moth's loveliness. An interesting fact: Luna Moths live no more than one week after they hatch from their chrysalis, as they have no mouth or gut.
