Window PanelsPosted by DK.Nagano on 12/20/2007Window panels are a great way to create an atmosphere of a room. They protect furniture and carpeting from fading, and when properly taken care
of, will last for generations. My window panels are all hand drawn, crafted, and copyrighted. Each one is one-of-a-kind with my signature etched on it and comes with attached hanging loops so it can be hung with two chains in front of windows. Images

This stunning window panel will send chills down your spine, as the Hawaiian tiki God, Ku, comes to life in brilliant firelight surrounded by a tropical foliage. Made with a medley of eye-catching cathedral glass, the picture cannot capture the true beauty and textures in this panel. Measuring 18.5"x 24.5" and signed by the artist, this is a one-of-a-kind find. Exclusive design by DK. Nagano |

This one-of-a-kind window panel depicts Ku, the hawaiian warrior God, made with light and dark ambers and amber nuggets for eyes. Surrounded by a medley of green tropical foliage and a bamboo design border, this panel definitely gives the feeling of ancient Hawaii. Panel measures 14"x 17", comes with a chain attached for hanging, and is signed by the artist. |

This custom order features the Peacock Bass, a favorite among fresh water fishermen. The picture does not do this panel justice as I could not quite catch the brilliance of the glass on this cloudy day. |

Born and raised in Hawaii on the island of
Oahu, Doreen K. Nagano is a completely
self-taught artist. As a little girl she drew obsessively, having a fit if her drawing didn't come out the way she envisioned it. It is this perfectionist attitude that eventually enabled her to become adept at painting portraits.
Growing up during the 60's and 70's, she
witnessed the influx of new cultures into the islands and developed an appreciation for all things cultural.
In 2001, she became intrigued with the beauty of glass and set about researching the process of creating stained glass, which she immediately took to. After much trial and error, she has developed her
own style, in which the beauty of the "local" culture is expressed.
