This one-of-a-kind window panel depicts Ku, the hawaiian warrior God, made with light and dark ambers and amber nuggets for eyes. Surrounded by a medley of green tropical foliage and a bamboo design border, this panel definitely gives the feeling of ancient Hawaii. Panel measures 14"x 17", comes with a chain attached for hanging, and is signed by the artist.

Born and raised in Hawaii on the island of
Oahu, Doreen K. Nagano is a completely
self-taught artist. As a little girl she drew obsessively, having a fit if her drawing didn't come out the way she envisioned it. It is this perfectionist attitude that eventually enabled her to become adept at painting portraits.
Growing up during the 60's and 70's, she
witnessed the influx of new cultures into the islands and developed an appreciation for all things cultural.
In 2001, she became intrigued with the beauty of glass and set about researching the process of creating stained glass, which she immediately took to. After much trial and error, she has developed her
own style, in which the beauty of the "local" culture is expressed.
