To create the stained glass mosaic panels I apply pieces of glass to a glass panel which makes the mosaics transparent. It is like painting with glass. My sculptures are made from concrete which has been sand cast or molded, painted, and glass mosaics applied to the surface. With the combination of clear iridescent and colored stained glass, the rawness of concrete becomes a surface of color, reflection and depth.
